HOW TO JOIN AND HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN US$10,000?

“Give Yourself Up To Imagination” is about a girl embarking on a journey of self discovery and positivity and how she gets there.

 

Entry to this competition is FREE.

 

To join and have a chance to win US$10,000, simply write a song inspired by this story.


In addition to the cash prize, produced at costs to us will be a music video based on the story.

We'll shortlist 12 finalists and upload their original compositions onto our website, where the public can listen and share the songs. 

 

The winner, who will win US$10,000, will be decided by popular vote and a judging panel led by Hans Ebert who wrote the story.

SONG ENTRY T & C​

  1. All song entries must be in English and must be original.

  2. All song entries shall not infringe any copyrights or any other rights of any third parties. Songs must be less than 5 minutes in length and may have multiple co-writers, but only one name should be designated as the Entrant on the entry form. All songwriters must be listed on the entry form in the field requesting the names of the songwriters. Entrant shall, by entering, indemnify and hold Open Space harmless from and against any claims inconsistent with the foregoing.

  3. This international competition is open to both amateur and professional songwriters all around the world.  Entrants under 18 years old must have a written permission from a parent or a guardian sent to openspace.mgr@gmail.com.

  4. Entrant may submit as many songs as desired. Song entry must be complete and in .mp3 or .wav playable format.

  5. Open Space reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions stated herein or extend the entry deadline without prior notice.

  6. Entrant acknowledges that all songs entered may be distributed to judges who will be selecting the winners, and Entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold Open Space, its partners, sponsors, and judges harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, participation in this competition.

  7. The entry should not contain any content which may be considered as violent, obscene, indecent or libellous. Open Space reserves the right to delete any entry it deems as inappropriate.

  8. By participating in this activity, all entrants acknowledge that he/she has read, accepted and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions as stated here.

  9. Only the announced and verified winner are entitled to receive the prize.

  10. Entrants to the competition agree to a Non Exclusive Agreement with Open Space to have the website use all materials submitted for any and all promotional and marketing activities. Entrants will own all Rights to their content.
