Female Rock drummers are a rarity. Especially solo female drummers. So when one comes across a 24 year old from the UK competing in the ninth season of the community-type competition “Hit Like A Girl “ for beat makers of all ages, we’re all ears.

Georgia Challinor is part of “Hit Like A Girl”. A pocket rocket, she carries on in the tradition of Rock icons like Keith Moon, “Bonzo” Bonham, Ian Paice etc and drummers in every all-female bands.

Here, Jordie Guzman talks to Georgia about how she got to where she is today and what her career plans are for tomorrow.
